PostSubject: Weekly Saturday Training   Wed Feb 18, 2009 2:49 am

Weekly training sessions (formerly known as jams), are held every Saturday, in the centre of Adelaide city. You will usually find a few people there training, so why not come along, introduce yourself, and get immersed in the world of parkour/freerunning.

Training time and location are as follows:

Time: People are training in the city all day on Saturday's, though we usually rock up at AFC around about 11:00. If no one is there, give me a buzz on 0415 316 613* and I can hook you up with whoever is training, or let you know where we are.

Meeting Place: Adelaide Festival Centre.
You will usually find us at the large colored blocks, though if not, have a look around, its not that bigger place.

What to bring: Food, or lunch money, water, and a nice pair of running shoes.

Local Hotspots Map: This is a google map that I made listing all the hotspots in Adelaide City Centre. If I missed out any, please tell me. Remember, we are not liable for any injuries that you may aquire at these spots, and you undertake this at your own risk.
Google Map

Remember, it doesn't matter how inexperienced you are, just come along, we dont bite.

Hi,

I would like to come out to give it a go, I have never done it before.

Are you meeting this Saturday? Are there any other sessions being run?

Any info would be great!

Cheers

Hi there,
Yes the session is running this Saturday, just come along, and give it a go, if you don't try, then you won't get results, thats the main thing Wink

There are also Wensday night sessions, the next one is on the 29th, you can view the thread for that here http://adelaideparkour.go-board.com/regular-training-sessions-f4/wednesday-night-fitness-session-t9.htm

Keep a look out in the training sessions thread for any impromptu sessions that people post,
Other than that, make a user on the site, sign up and say hi Smile

Hi,

Thanks for the info. I tried to reply but it seemed to get lost!? (User error from my side I am sure)

I was thinking about coming out on Satruday just to see what it is all about. I just don't want to hold you guys up... Do you often have new people come out? Are you sure you want me to come? lol

Can you also give me some info re: registering, fees etc?

Cheers
